Dhenkanal Science Centre

Dhenkanal Science Centre holds the distinction of being the first district-level Science Centre established in the state of Odisha. This monumental achievement was realized on the auspicious day of June 5th, 1995, when it was inaugurated and dedicated to the people of Odisha. The honor of the inauguration was bestowed upon Shri Madhavrao Scindia, the then Hon’ble Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Government of India. Brig. K.P. Singh Deo, AVSM, Hon’ble Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, also graced the occasion with his presence.

The Center features three Science Galleries and a Science Park with a wide range of interactive exhibits designed to make learning science enjoyable.
